In the streets of Split

As an avid traveler, I have always been fascinated by Croatia's stunning scenery, rich cultural heritage, and welcoming people. With great excitement, I want to share the beauty and charm of this Balkan gem.

Stepping off the plane, you'll immediately be struck by the pleasant warmth of the sun, and the fresh scent of the sea breeze that sweeps over the city. I quickly made my way to my hotel Esplanade, which was located in the heart of the historic city center.

As you walk through the city you will visit the magnificent Cathedral of Zagreb, a towering structure with a magnificent facade and a long history. Marvel at the intricate details of the cathedral's architecture and the grandeur of its interior, and you'll feel a sense of awe and reverence wash over you.

Experience the beautiful medieval Stone Gate, the colorful Dolac market, and the bustling Ban Jelacic Square.  Be sure to stop at a few local cafes and restaurants, where you can sample some delicious Croatian delicacies.

Rent a car and drive down to Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the most stunning natural wonders you'll ever see. The park is a network of cascading waterfalls, crystal clear lakes, and verdant forests, all blended together to create a breathtaking landscape.

The seaside city of Zadar, which is famous for its beautiful beaches, stunning sunsets, and rich cultural heritage. A drive along the coastal highway, will give you some of the most spectacular views you will ever experience, with the turquoise waters of the Adriatic stretching out as far as the eye can see. Spend your days lounging on the beach and swimming in the clear blue waters of the sea. Visit some of the city's historic landmarks, such as the ancient Roman Forum, the imposing St. Donatus Church, and the impressive Sea Organ, a unique musical instrument that was powered by the waves of the sea.

From Zadar, journey south, passing by many other beautiful seaside towns and villages, such as Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik. Each of these places had its own unique charm and character, and you'll enjoy exploring their narrow streets, colorful markets, and ancient ruins.

In Dubrovnik, spend time soaking up the sun on the beaches, enjoying the local cuisine, and exploring the city's many historical sites. Walk along the city walls, which offer stunning views of the sea and the surrounding countryside.
